Frightmares

This Halloween season, funds were a bit tight with my lack of job. And it's not that I don't try (4 contacts a week), but I can't seem to get hired with my availability. Guess I'll have to try a little faster with school. But in the meantime we have been able to use our prized Lagoon passes to go to Frightmares for free. I was so glad we saved up at the beginning of the year to get them.
We have had so much fun at Lagoon this year...but Frightmares takes the cake. They just really outdid themselves in decorating every inch of the park. J finally had a Saturday off so we went on the 8th. It was actually a wet, rainy, cold day but we bundled up and headed out. We packed sandwiches for lunch and leftover pizza for dinner. Mom, Dad, Amos and the kiddos, and Aaron and his boys joined us a little later in the day. Frightmares had so much to offer: Haunted houses, spook a boo alley and straw maze for littler kids, Halloween shows, tombstones, pumpkins, and fog to create the perfect spooky atmosphere.
Most the rides were still open so we just had a fun Halloween time. We definitely put our passes to use this year. But I am sad that the season is already over. I really hope next year we can save up and go again. The kids just love to ride the rides and surprisingly they are so well-behaved and nice to eachother there.
