20- I'M THANKFUL FOR: SCHOOL:

This isn't just for little kids. Yes I am super grateful for the schools and teachers that are teaching my little kiddos. It's amazing to see how much they retain and remember. Rhett is my shining star...he truly remembers EVERYTHING. Which can be a blessing and a curse (if I ever try to hide anything, he won't let me!) I am so glad he is able to go all day and learn so much. And the things they learn at such a young age is crazy. I don't remember doing fractions when I was in 2nd grade. He loves to teach Ry what he learns (though not sure how much she'll remember) but its cute he sets that example. Ry then likes to do the same thing to Kenna. Ry is loving her preschool. She has really remembered more this year than last year. She has so much fun seeing her friends and teacher. When she gets home, its her favorite thing to do her homework right away. Then she has to show me all her papers she did that day. Its so cute to see her so excited about school.
As for me, I am still in school. I have great friends who have helped me get into school for medical transcription so I can work from home. And my family is so supportive. Whenever I am working on homework, the kids love to ask me questions about what I'm learning. I feel that even oldies like me can still go to school to better their knowledge and it helps set an example for my own kiddos. I hope more people will strive to take advantage of these opportunities because these days its so easy to take the easy way out. And we really need more young people to want to continue their education so these professions will continue on.

  1. Love this post. We all should be very grateful for expanding our knowledge. And benefits always come from it. Good job on working hard to get your new job. I don't know how I can help, but I'm willing whenever you need.
