Nothing in the world would be without Them. I feel very blessed to have wonderful parents who raised me in the church and never faltered with the love they had for the Gospel. And I feel very grateful me and J feel the same way and can raise our children to love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Especially this time of year, its a wonderful time to reflect on the story of Jesus' birth.
I am so grateful for what Heavenly Father did for us in sacrificing His Son. I can't imagine the agony He went through knowing how much Jesus suffered for all of us to be here and have a way back to eternal glory with Them. I would never want my own son to feel that kind of pain. But Jesus did that for us and we owe Him everything we can give.
I feel grateful knowing I'm never alone. Especially at night when everyone goes to bed, and I feel alone, I have a peaceful feeling knowing I can pray to Heavenly Father anytime I want and He's always listening and waiting to hear from me. I feel grateful for the promises and blessings that we are able to partake in, if we do what is asked of us. I feel grateful for the wonderful Primary songs about Heavenly Father and Jesus that my kids (especially Ry) sing throughout the day. I feel grateful that my kids are excited to see Heavenly Father and Jesus again. But mostly I feel grateful for the day, when I have done all I could have done, and will be welcomed with open arms! All this and many more is possible because of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I love Them so much and I'm so thankful for all the blessings I have because of Them!
Wow what a powerful testimony you have! Thank you for those words!
ReplyDeleteAmen to you and Amanda. I love how you ended with your testimony and summed up what all these blessings mean. All of our blessings are because of Them. Thanks for sharing.
