9- I'M THANKFUL FOR: RYLEE:
Oh this girl brings so many emotions. Like my sis said about her little ones, she can make me angry, cry, laugh, and smile all in one day. She has the personality and energy of a pixie which I guess is fitting since her room is Tinkerbell and fairies. She's always moving around and usually happy. Sometimes I joke that she's so ditsy she's lucky she's cute...but this year she really has comprehended more in school. Learning how to write her letters and numbers, counting, rhyming, and mostly reading. Lately she's been really into Primary songs especially practicing for their Primary Program. She walks around the house humming and singing them and its a wonderful thing to hear.
It's hard to be angry with her especially when she says the most random things. Like the other day she came up to me and said "Mom I'm carsick." I told her, "Silly, you're not in the car." So she replies, "Well then I'm homesick!" Also the other day she was running around and bumped into the wall. She stares right at the wall and screams, "Wall, that wasn't nice. Stop doing that!" She surely is a loveable girl and always wanting to help. She loves to think she is a mommy. She has named all her babies and takes care of each one (though her favorite is Lacey.) She also loves to take care of Kenna as if she's her baby too. When she gets home from school, she'll sit down with Kenna and "teach" her everything she learned that day. She wears high heels every day...walking, running, dancing; she just loves them. She tells me almost every day she can't wait to grow up and be a mom, "Well after I get married in the temple and grow a baby in my tummy like you." I am so proud of her and love her sweet spirit in our home.

10- I'M THANKFUL FOR: KENNA:
Oh this sweet little thing. She is getting so big so fast. She has been talking so much better lately. I can understand alot of what she says...and alot of that is rambled up sentences. She likes to be very proper. Whenever she eats, she wants her bibs. Then very carefully she'll use her utensils as to make sure she doesn't spill one bit. She also loves to read...alot! She goes to our bookshelf every day and pulls out every book. Then she'll read in her jarbled voice and it's the cutest thing. She really thinks she is reading those books as she turns all the pages.
She has cute lingo...like pizza is pizzi and chicken is chicki. She has the funnest laugh and the cutest voice. Recently she's been loving to sing. She sings "Happy Birthday" (as I posted last post) and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". I feel so blessed to have her in my life. Her and Ry are the cutest sisters. They play everyday so well...from Barbies to babies to having picnics to playing restaurant to playing cars to pretending to ride rides at Lagoon. I love all my sisters and I feel grateful my girls get to experience sisterhood like I did.

(Sorry my phone cut off the last part of the song)

11- I'M THANKFUL FOR: OUR LITTLE BAMBINO:
I feel very blessed for our little bambino that is slowly growing. Even though its a hard time for us right now, I know the Lord has a reason to send us this angel. I have been sicker and more sore than any other pregnancy. But knowing this is our last baby, I know its worth it so I don't mind. The kiddos are so excited for another baby and now that they're older they understand it more. They ask me questions every day about our little one. Ry's favorite question almost every day, "Mom, is the baby ready for the Dr?" I have to reply, "Not yet. The baby's not big enough." We can't wait to meet this little one.

So even in our chaotic world which is swirling all around us, I feel so lucky to have my children in my life. I'd be lost without them and I'm so grateful they can be my anchor in this crazy life of ours!

  1. How I love each of your kids as well. They each make me smile and I love your girls and their little girl voices. They each make me smile. Hopefully Oaklee will turn out like them!
