I feel so lucky to be able to live in my kind of living. Far away from traffic and congestion but only minutes to places I need to go like grocery shopping, the doctors, or library. Also I am thankful our water is easily accessible as well as our sewer lines....no wells or septic tanks.
2- I'M THANKFUL FOR: HEAT/FURNACES:

I love that we have a working and efficient heater. With the way our weather jumps back and forth, I love being able to flip a little switch on our thermostat to activate the heater. When its freezing and snowing outside, it's wonderful to hear the hot air moving thru the vents to keep us comfortable and warm.
3- I'M THANKFUL FOR: MY MOM:
I love my mom very much. I am so lucky to have a mom close by who will be there when I really need her. Or able to talk her ear off when I need to vent. She is very supportive of all her kids and grand kids and their activities and wanting to know all our updates in life. I am also very proud of her and all that she has accomplished. She raised 6 wonderful and healthy children to be loving and responsible, she's the best mother-in-law anyone could dream of, she's a great grandmother who loves each of her grand kids, and she's an exceptionally hard worker. Just last night she was awarded with THE EXTRA MILE AWARD for Weber School District. It's a special award that doesn't get passed out alot. You have to really catch their eye with how hard you work...and she does just that. Our whole family went to the board meeting to watch them present her the trophy and hear the praise they gave her. We all just smiled and nodded because it's things we've known our whole lives. She has always been the glue to keep the family together, especially when my Dad would be on leave in the Navy. I could go on and on....but I just really love my Mom and all she does for me and our families. I feel truly blessed and lucky to have someone so wonderful in our life.
Bad timing to read your mom post...I got a little teary eyed. This week has been rough for me and the one thing I'm craving is a hug from my mom. We truly are so lucky for an amazing mom. I don't think I will ever measure up to all that she did and does now.
