Sometimes 3x Sweet....and Innocent

So life has been incredibly busy lately. My work finally picked up so I've been working about 4-5 days, and J is still trying to catch up so he's been working 6 days. We rarely see eachother but I guess that makes it better when we finally do. Tis life and what we have to do. We do get to spend alot of time with the kids and watch them grow. But after being with 3 kids who don't always get along everyday and love to fight with one another, I love to get away to a peaceful job where I can relax and type to my music.
But even then I still come home to my 3 babies and check in on them as they sleep and realize its still worth it thru all the hectic times. Cause the good far outweighs the bad. As it shows in the following pictures. I am truly blessed with 3 beautiful and great kids.

Sometimes they seem so innocent and adorable

Awww, Ry loves to have Kenna with her

Harmons Lagoon Day

The day finally came. Its one of my favorites of the summer, next to the family reunion in August. We had so much fun and surprisingly Ry could ride more rides than I thought she would be able to. I am glad we bought her a ticket this year. Especially since Lagoon has become hand stamp natzis. They even told me that if Kenna was going to ride any rides I had to buy her a ticket. Cause an 8 month old can ride alot of rides, LOL!
We got to Lagoon right when it opened cause we planned to get our money's worth. We let the kids ride their kiddy rides first before we hit the Harmons pavillion with all that free food. Jeez there was lots. We did have alot of fun eating it though. Greg, Monica, Aiyden, and Keahgann joined up with us. As did some of our other Harmons friends. Aaron, Crystal, and the boys joined us a little later and they brought a bag to load up on the free food. Good thing we brought our double stroller to store ours, Ha!
Dawn and the kids and Aimee and Wyatt met up with us about 5. In time for dinner and the drawing at the pavillion. Justin didn't win anything, but hes certain they put his name back in cause he already won a cruise this year. But he earned that fair and square. It's ok though cause we all had so much fun eating and hanging out and both our families were able to sit and get to know eachother. Which was fun for us. We rode a few more rides and because Lagoon is weird and closed the rides at 930, we had to leave. But not before we watched some guys do a basketball shoot out to win a jersey, and give all our kids bears they'd won on the way to the big prize. Another successful day, and I can't wait for next year. I love Harmons is able to praise their employees this way and make it fun for us and our family and friends.

Rylee on the bumper cars. She loved this ride ALOT! (She's in the orange car in the back)

Rhett cheesin it up on the bumper cars. Good thing he has 10 years before he hits the open road....

Peek-A-Boo, I see you!

Flying High.....

Loving the helicopters

Rhett and Ry at Lagoon in 2008. They look so tiny.

How much they've grown in 2 years. Makes me sad! If only they could be this sweet at all times, no such luck.

Kenna was so tired and it was so late when we got home, she fell asleep in her carseat with her leg straight up. Totally cute.

4th of July Weekend

We had fun the whole weekend. Saturday we hung together as a family and got to watch the West Valley Fireworks from our street. They were so close we heard the baning of the fireworks and the cheering of everyone when they were over. That's my idea of fireworks....see the action without the crowds and traffic. And the kids loved watching them too.
Sunday we Brandon and Chyann and their little girls over. I will post pics when they are available. We just sat around and ate snacks...so yummy and I am sure I gained enough weight! After we ate the kids decided to put on a show for us. It was totally cute. They gave out "tickets" we had to turn in, and they had the room all set up with a stage and chairs for all of us. The little girls did some gymnastics and sang some songs as did Rhett. They even had a spotlight(from a bedside lamp). They were so proud of themselves. After the show, we went outside to do our fireworks. They were pretty fun, till I got burned by a sparkler from a very excited 3 year old. After the cops and fire engines ran thru our neighborhood due to the courtesy of our neighbors and their illegal fireworks, we called it a night.
Monday Justin had a half day so when he got home we worked on the yard and headed down to Salt Lake City to Monica's to go swim, meet her soon-to-be stepkids, and have dinner. We had a very fun time swimming and all the kids just love the water. Justin, Rhett, and Aiyden had a watergun war which left the girls to fend for themselves. After swimming we drove down to West Jordan to try out this yummy philly steakhouse. Of course after we drove the distance, and were tired from the long day, and the kids were cranky cause they were starving....the place was closed for an extended holiday weekend! We decided to cross over the parking lot and eat at Cafe Rio. It was really good but I am excited to try the philly steak sandwich. After this long day, we had to head home for Harmons Lagoon Day the next day! More to come shortly. I promise. I think I am finally getting the hang of this blog thing.

She was all smiles the whole day....she loves the water!
