We woke up today and got Rhett off to the bus stop and then did our yard work. When we were done with that, it was time for lunch. I am rethinking afternoon preschool. After Ry ate lunch she cried and said she wanted a nap! But as soon as she got to school she was fine. She had a great first day and made her first set of school handprints. She ran home to show me, and was totally excited.
As for Rhett, hes doing pretty good in school. The last 2 weeks they reviewed the alphabet and today he started his homework folder. Hmmm, guess that means its homework time for me too, again!!! His behavior has been pretty good. He did have one bad day last week so he didn't get his dollar (he did get $.80 for 4 good days). He did say it was for a good reason. He got in trouble for talking while the teacher was. His response, "But Mom, Gretta is so pretty, I have to talk to her." So cute, yet kinda scary. But I am glad he thinks girls are cute. He hasn't acted out since then. He even found a dollar at the store to make up for the one he didn't earn (his words). So far he has $3.24, and he said he needed to pay his tithing so they can have money to build the temple Grandpa's working on. Life is funny sometimes. I am enjoying this growing time with the kids. They are just turning into little people. How sad it can be though that they are just growing too darn fast.
