So I am following in my little sisters footsteps and using eachday to mention a blessing until the end of November. And I too am 3 days behind so here goes....
ONE: I'M THANKFUL FOR: I have to start off too with my wonderful hubby. He is the most patient man I know. He puts up with ALOT! And yet he still loves me thru it. He holds the priesthood in our home and uses it when needed. He is a great example of what Christ wants us to be doing. He's always reading his scriptures and study guides..which he teaches me and the kids. He holds home evening with the kids even when I have to work (the last one they did was a treasure hunt to find ten clues which ended up being the ten commandments. The kids loved it) And he has unconditional love. He tells me every day "You're beautiful today!" Even when I tell him not to he replies "But I don't want you to forget!" I am truly blessed with a sweet and caring man who loves me and his family above all else.
TWO: I'M THANKFUL FOR: In light of recent events, I have to say I am truly grateful for doctors and prescriptions. This last weekend was miserable and I was in so much pain. I was so blessed to get into a dr. an hour after I called, and get meds an hour after that at the pharmacy. Within 8 hours, I was feeling so much better. Which is essential to a mom with 3 kids. You have to be up to your best to take care of the little ones.
THREE: I'M THANKFUL FOR: I am thankful and blessed for my smart little kids, and the teachers who teach them. Kenna is beginning to say more and more words she learns from her siblings. And she knows what they mean. It's cute to see them teach her. Ry is doing better in school. She is learning her alphabet sounds and phonics. And knowing what they mean too. She feels so special she knows them. And Rhett just brought home his school test for 1st quater. He scored perfect in all 20 categories...smart kid! Top of his class again. I am so proud of him and how hard he works to achieve it. He constantly wants to read books...which he can now! And do homework. And when he learns something, he passes it on to his sisters.
So there are my 3 blessings so far for November. We are truly blessed in this life, even when so much bad is whirling around us. Its good to see how much we have to love in life, so thank you Mandee for the great idea!
I LOVE this idea! I might have to use this for my blog.. ;-)
