Happy Pioneer Day!

Today for Pioneer Day, J actually had an early short shift...he got home at noon. Him and the kiddos went outside to mow the lawn and play, while I pumped and fed Kodee.
After, we headed to Macey's to do some grocery shopping. Kodes was even in a great mood smiling and cooing the whole time.

I know it sounds silly, but I hate grocery shopping alone. And it was nice to get out of the house. When we got back home, I had to pump yet again. As soon as I finished, Aaron and Crystal and their kids arrived at our house to celebrate the night.
We started with eating dinner...take and bake pizzas, salad, jello, and root beer. We sat around the table eating dinner and playing games while the kiddos watched Robots. It was so cute to listen to them laugh and giggle during the funny parts.
When it finally got dark enough, we headed outside to light fireworks. With all the fires in Utah this year, fireworks have been banned in most cities and neighborhoods along the mountains. So Aaron and his family were excited to finally do fireworks this summer.

Let the Show Begin

Aaron and J kept stacking fireworks on top of eachother to make them taller while they went off.

But near the end, they kept falling over. We finally got our metal ladder to set them on...just in time for the Finale.

It was a great holiday and I was happy to share it with family. The only drawback...the night went too fast!!!
