Today for the 4th, J had to work until late afternoon. When he got home, I quickly pumped and took a few pics of the kids in their new shirts.
We then headed over to Liz and Justin's house for a bbq and fireworks. Rhett was extra excited to go because Justin Wilcox is his Scout leader.
When we got there, J started grilling our chicken while the kiddos played in the bounce house. It was fun visiting with everyone...Justin Wilcox's family, The Checkett's...Bob and Bonnie, Annie and the girls, Amy and her family, and Allison...Melissa Skousen and her kiddos, Brett and Ashley, and Liz's cousin Jennifer and her family. It was a great group to be with!
Kenna was just happy to have so much food and drink to choose from...our little scavenger!
After dinner, I headed home to pump again and let Ry take a quick nap. J stayed with the other 3 kiddos so they could play and Kodes could be loved up by our friends. Jennifer even got a little pampering from Kenna. She went over to her back and started to scratch it. Kenna then said, "You're so pretty!" Yes, Kenna likes to pamper me at home so it was cute to see her do it to someone else.
When I came back, the sun had set and it was time for fireworks. We all lined up our chairs to start the show.

Kodee didn't like the fireworks too well. She cried until we gave her bottle which seemed to keep her occupied.
My fave part of the night was being able to chat with our friends and be together.
