Flying High!!!

This morning, Oct. 23, I was able to do my first 5k. I did it with one of my besties, Liz and her son Connor, whom I am so grateful. She runs all the time and is pretty quick, but she kept it slow for me and kept me motivated. It was super cold and rainy the entire race but it was actually quite helpful. I was able to slow jog most the time (with my neighbors sister) and I was super proud of myself. I have always told my fam I would never be a runner but now that I finally did a 5k, I want to train harder to get better and faster. I told Aaron now that I started, I need to do Ragnar next year but we'll see if it actually happens. My goal for this race was to complete in an hour. I was able to complete in 46:52. So goal....accomplished!!

Liz, me, and Connor-Kennas future hubby-we have it all set up ;)

That night I was able to go to Witches Night Out cause I couldn't go the night before with Mom, Dawn, and Aimee because J had to work late. I was able to have some friends, Kathleen and Melissa, and Justin's mom Sharon go with me. We had lots of fun. We were able to get down there pretty early and park across the street for free (Thank you mom for babysitting) Though it was raining, it stopped about an hour after we got there. We ate soup and sandwiches for dinner and had yummy fudge for dessert. We were also able to shop some (all the girls bought scarves) and get tons of photos. I love witches night out and I was super glad I had some fun people to go with.

Shopping....

  3. The only way I will go again is if everyone dresses up with me. I know we can get some cute outfits together....and that won't drag on the ground!
