Tuesday Already

I cannot believe how time flies. I feel like the weeks are just whizzing by. We had another fun weekend hosting Deloy and Sharon. Friday night we went to dinner at Cafe Rio and a short shopping trip to Target where I was able to run into my good friend Jill. It was great to see her and chat with her after so long. I hope she knows how much I love her and pray for her and her family.
Saturday was fun...Zumba with Liz! Thanks to Sharon for watching the kids yet again so I could go burn some fat. I am just loving that class and being able to go with someone. After class, I came home and listened to conference while talking with Sharon. Deloy was not feeling well so he drove home to St. George (he didn't want to get anyone sick) and Sharon stayed up with us so we could celebrate Josh's bday. After the priesthood session ended, we met up at Red Robin with Josh and Jessica, Monica and Greg, Sharon, and J and me and the kids. $5 burgers and endless fries rock! After dinner we went to Josh and Jessica's cute new townhome to hang out. Rhett got totally excited playing Super Mario on the Wii, and Jessica gave Ry her first professional pedicure (Jessica does it for a living at Sego Lily Spa-among the other services they offer) She loved it especially the "Tinkerbell Fairy Dust" she put on her nails.
On Sunday I woke up and yep, I got sick. I know Deloy tried not getting us sick but of course I did. I was in bed till about 2pm. Luckily it was pj church day and J was off so I could get some rest. Ry ended getting a little sick near the end of the day so we had grilled cheese and soup for dinner, perfect for us sickly ones.
Monday I finally got my wish...it was much cooler, 72 degrees with rain. It was nice finally cuddling up in some blankets. We decided to have a lunch date since J was off. Even though we had the girls it wasn't all that bad. We went to Imperial for $5 lunch specials. Then it was time for me to go to work.
It's weird how we didn't have much going on for Oct. but now our calendar is filling up. I am having a ward girls night, ward Chili cook-off, PBC's first bday, going to St. George for UEA to celebrate PBC, J, and Rhetts bdays with J's fam, a pumpkin walk, witches night out, our Allen bday party, 2 baby showers, pumpkin carving, cornmazes, Ry's preschool field trip, Halloween, Primary Program, and yep I am doing my first 5k. I may not be able to run or jog much, but I am signed up and I will complete it with my friends. Though its a busy month, it should all be fun!
