America's Favorite Pastime

Rhett started baseball a few weeks ago and he's done pretty well. He has good stance for hitting, he can hit the ball pretty far, and he can throw and catch the ball; yes, he has the basics down. Unfortunately, he said it's too boring and he likes soccer better because he can move around a lot more. It also doesn't help that his coach is a die-hard baseball coach/fan and takes it pretty seriously...which is kinda hard for these kids who are just playing for fun.
We like to give Rhett the variety of different sports, but ultimately it has to be his decision. So this will probably be his last season for baseball, yet we still have fun going to his games and cheering him on. Even Ry gets into it. It sure reminds me of the good ol' days when our family would go cheer on the Rainbows in South Carolina and also cheer on our brother, Aaron, at his baseball games while we ate boiled peanuts. Good times!

Ry loves cheering Rhett on; when he hits the ball, she yells "run, run, run...a little faster!"

A little practice before the game (he's no. 4)

Hey batter, batter, batter...

Add another point for the Rockies

Game Time...Over!
