She pulled this face one day. When I asked her why she was doing that, she replied, "I'm being you Mom!" She does that often now, especially when she's getting in trouble.
Lately, she just loves showing us different expressions.
And while she loves to go off on her own and be independent...
...she sure loves being with her sister too!
She does some of the cutest things we have grown to love...
*Everytime she gets out of the bath, she stands in the hall and waves while yelling, "HI MOM!"
*When it's time for bed, J will carry her to her room as she pretends to sleep.
*When she's in bed, she'll never let us shut her door all the way. Everytime we announce its bedtime she says, "Do Not Shut My Door. I Mean It!" as she points her finger at us.
*While we were at Costco, she was riding on J's shoulders.
They went to check a price on Go-gurt, while me and the other kiddos were getting some other things on our list. When her and J got in front of the Go-gurt, he stopped. She then said, "So Dad, is it pricey?"
*The second J walks thru the door after work, she runs up to him and asks to look at pictures on his phone. She'll spend hours sliding her finger from picture to picture. She gets very annoyed when she tries to do it on my phone since my phone is not hi-tech and it doesn't have a touch screen.
*The other day she got some treats for going no 2. in the potty. After she ate them, she came up to me and asked, "Where's my treat?" I told her, "They are in your belly because you already ate them." She then proceeds to lift up her shirt, look at her belly, and said, "Why are they in there? Come out, come out. I want to eat you!"
*She is obsessed with shoes, everyone's shoes. Whether it be shoes, flips, boots, or slippers, she'll put a pair on and keep them on all day. She'll even make up shoes...like in this pic. This is her "ice-skating" with her "ice-skates." (She used her toy aluminum plates from her kitchen set)
*She loves to watch movies. The other day she said, "I want to watch Spy Kids. Is it a good show?" Before I could respond, she said, "Yeah, it's a good show."
*Toy Story is one of her favorite movies. She'll say, "Uh-huh, oh yeeeah! It's Woody time!" And if I don't sit right down, she says, "Hurry! You're missing it!"
*She loves eating Poptarts. But it's even cuter when she asks for them, "Mom, can I have a Tophart?"
Shoot this girl is so stinkin funny. While she can be girly at times, she is mostly laid back, drama-free, and tough as nails. And while she can be sooo stubborn and too independent, she makes up for it with her cute personality and antics. I can't get enough her. But really, how can you not love a girl with a smile like this...
