So Miss Rylee finally started preschool. She has been asking everyday for 3 weeks, "Do I go to school today?" And especially since Rhett started school, she was more adamant to go. Well it finally arrived; today was the day she started back to school. She was so excited she literally ran to school. Miss Michelle even made school shirts they get to keep and wear to field trips. And I have to be honest and say how nice and quiet it is in the mornings to have 2 off at school.

Also this past weekend for labor day we were able to celebrate with good friends. On Sunday, we had 5 of our friends and their families meet up at Liz's to have a bbq and campout. Since the kids didn't have school the next day, those of us who wanted to "camp" out, set up our tents. Of course, my kiddos were more than happy to have another night sleeping in the tent. In fact Ry keeps asking when we get to have another campout at Liz's camp.
After dinner, they started the fire pit and we roasted marshmallows, made smores, and just relaxed and talked. About 2 in the morning we called it a night. I went to get in my sleeping bag and was very surprised how cold it really was. Good thing we don't live too far away because I had to grab a few more blankets. We were awoken early in the morning by our children. Some were "watering the plants" with soda (but secretly drinking it for breakfast) while Connor and Kenna enjoyed eating cold hot dogs. We got everything down in time before a little rain shower came. After we got home, me and the kiddos rode our bikes 3 miles to Jensen Park to feed the ducks. Then we just enjoyed being Labor-free the rest of the afternoon. All in all a great weekend with great company.
