Appreciation

On July 7th, J's orthodontist rented out the Roy Aquatic Center for all the patients to go swimming for free....Patient Appreciation Day. They said it was immediate family only so we obeyed the rules and didn't invite anyone. But it was crazy mayhem. The line to get in was wrapped way down the street. I don't think everyone else read the rules but we still had fun. They had a clown, popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, prizes, a live band, and they fed us "dinner"-a chicken leg with a scoop of potato salad. It's the thought that counted and the kiddos had a fun time.
We have had a very fun week, long and packed full of activities but I feel so lucky to be able to take off from work so much and enjoy my family time.

  1. That's such a good idea and makes you feel appreciated by a doctor. How much longer until his braces come off and how are they looking? We need to skype again soon k

  2. Oh and I find it funny they served popcorn when you aren't supposed to eat it with braces. LOL

  3. I know right??!! My friend said the same thing. They say another year for his braces, but could be sooner. They are working out quicker than they thought. He only has one more tooth on the bottom that needs to be aligned but it finally has a bracket on it. Looking good! And he finally has a better appetite. He needs to gain weight so we don't look so lop-sided together :)
