"I Do"

Part 2 of 2. The other missing post from a week and a half ago.

Today J's sis Monica got married. We had his brother and his fam stay with us. Last night we all got together for pizza and the Jazz game, too bad they lost. This morning we all got up pretty early to get us 3 girls hair curled and gussied up....to look outside to a BLIZZARD! We left on time, but because of the weather we arrived a little late but still in time. Good thing we had good directions to Memory Grove.
When we got there, I got the 2 girls dressed in their cute princess dresses, and then we were seated. The bishop presiding the ceremony gave such a good talk. About life, love, and being there for eachother. His most important goal...keep dating! After the ceremony we had our family pics taken. Man what a task keeping all our kiddos rounded up and looking pretty in their outfits. We ended up having 3 meltdowns; good thing for fruit snacks saving the day! But the good news was it stopped snowing while we were there.
After we left, the Merrill fam went to downtown SLC to eat philly steak sandwiches, and yes they were delicious. Deloy is looking to franchise one in St. George, which I think would do really well.
Then it was time to freshen up at Grandma's house and onto Zions Bank for the reception. We parked across the street in the Joseph Memorial parking garage and walked over. It was decorated so pretty and we had the best view of downtown SLC, especially when the sun went down and the lights turned on.
The reception was very nice and very low-key. We had appetizers and lots of cake. Ry had so much cake she kept saying she was going to throw up all the sugar! They had a separate room for the kiddos to watch movies which was awesome. And then Mom and Dad came down to admire her work. Which she got complimented ALL DAY! And why wouldn't she, she is super good at what she does. All in all a long but great day. The kiddos will sleep so well tonight :)
