Then we met up with Amos, Wy, and Oaklee at the new Macey's in Clinton (they moved into where Albertsons was) I love Maceys and this store cause its pretty and big and had lots of deals. While we were there, all of a sudden Kenna just freaked out. And those that know PBC she is not likely to throw a fit for no reason. She wouldn't eat, drink, be rocked, sit...nothing I did helped. She screamed and screamed for at least 30 min while others stared at me! I finally said a little prayer that I could find what was wrong. I was thinking she was constipated, appendix bursting, something horribly wrong. Then I tried to stand her up and thats when she bellowed out again. It was her shoes!!! They were too tight and had a rock in them that was pushing into her heel. So lesson to you parents....make sure the shoes fit! I won't make that mistake again.
Then we picked up Rhett from his bus stop and we all went over to McDonalds for lunch, 2.99 any happy meal. Their park was under renovations so we decided to come back and play at the park by my house. It would have been fun if it weren't covered in feet of water. So we drove around to 2 more parks till we decided on one by the theater. Though it was sand, and it got in many crevices of the kids, they had so much fun running, playing, and enjoying the sun.
After the park we were all pretty worn out so we came back to my house and decided to relax a bit till our hubbys joined us and so the littlest kiddos could have power naps. We then went to our most fave Chinese place, Imperial Chinese by Walmart, and yes it was sooo tasty!
It was a long long day, but totally worth enjoying the sun. Especially since the temperature dropped and it snowed the very next day! I just can't figure out Utah spring weather.
Just playin around
Time for sliding-every which way
Trying their skills on the monkey bars
what a fun day! jaycee had fun looking at the pics and said "silly Rylee" of Rylee on the monkey bars. LOL That last pic you and Aimes look like twins! Glad you guys enjoyed some time together. I can give your kids lots of sand to play in when you guys come out one day :)
ReplyDeleteoh yes, I am not a fan of sand unless its on a beach and building sand castles! I was so happy Amos wanted to come hang out and I just loved spending it the whole day with them. Jaycee is totally cute, I should have posted the pic of Ry when she decided she couldn't get down. Maybe I'll add it...sooo funny!
